A very busy Glanbia Farm Show with fewer regular features this week as we host the annual Lions Club Farm Auction which assists the work of St. Vincent De Paul in Kilkenny. George Candler and Eddie Holohan joined us on the programme tonight and many items were sold.
The second auction will take place next Thursday night, December 8th at 7:00 p.m. and the phone line 056-7796233 will be open for bids.
On this week’s programme we hear from John Bambrick of the Kilkenny IFA about some upcoming events, we hear from Teagasc’s Micheal Somers on the seasonal issue of Christmas trees and we also hear from Liam Egan from Mullinahone Co-Op about the new arrangements for ear tags. We also have a Mart report from George Candler.
(For further information about ear tags and to order online you can click here )
As always, we thank all those who bid on tonight’s programme for items on the Kilkenny Lions Club Farm Auction.
