The 158th Carlow Rowing Regatta gets underway today.

The oldest rowing festival in the country runs for two days on the River Barrow in Carlow Town.

There are 116 races today and 181 tomorrow.

Regatta Secretary Michael Curran told KCLR news it’s going to be a busy two days
