3 people arrested in Carlow last night were taken to court in Wexford this morning charged with public order offences.
They were among a number of people detained by Gardai called out to an incident in Toughers Restaurant on the Dublin road at around 12.30.
Up to 60 people in the restaurant were refusing to leave the premises and Gardai had to request back up with 20 patrol cars arriving from the district to take them away.
3 were charged – 2 women and a man. They were taken to court this morning.
They’re not believed to be from the Carlow area.
