Five local companies are making their way to cork for the second annual Blacknight SME Awards later

Five local companies are making their way to cork for the second annual Blacknight SME Awards later.

Carlow and Kilkenny will be well represented at the event which honours the achievements of local entrepreneurs in 15 categories.

The Dolmen County Group and Tumbledown Media are the Carlow finalists, while Jamjou, Ristorante Rinuccini and Kilkenny cooling systems are representing Kilkenny.

The event is being sponsored by Blacknight web hosting company from Graigcullen in Carlow.

CEO, Michele Neylon says this is a great opportunity for the businesses involved.
