One of Ireland’s leading sports physio therapists has hit out at the continued under funding of sports and athletes in this country.

Carlow’s Anthony ‘Star’ Geoghegan, who’s just back from the Rio Olympics where he also worked with Usain Bolt, says it’s a disgrace that athletes are not getting their money’s worth.

Despite taking home a couple of silver medals from this year’s games, Anthony told KCLR Live this morning that we should be doing so much better.
