Traffic problems at Browneshill Crossroads to be addressed this week

€25,000 has been put aside

A decision will be made this week by the council on how they’re going to fix a dangerous  crossroads in Carlow Town.

Browneshill Crossroads has been the scene of many a crash with narrow roads on the approach to the junction.

25 thousand euro has now been put aside to try and make it safer.

Local councillor Walter Lacey says they’ve a couple of options including traffic lights and, if necessary, speed ramps.
