Carlow shops in need of a facelift urged to apply for funding

Those interested have until the 19th of May to get their applications in to the County Council.

Shops in Carlow could be in line for a facelift as applications are now being taken for this year’s Streetscape Paint Scheme.

A fund has been allocated to assist with the cost of painting the front facade of businesses in towns and villages around the county.

Those interested have until the 19th of May to get their applications in to the County Council.

Carlow Councillor Andy Gladney says schemes like this are a help to smaller businesses trying to save on expenses where they can.
