Almost 1,900 students in Carlow and Kilkenny sat their Leaving Cert exams this year
Do not change your college course choices based on how you think you did in the Leaving Cert.
That’s the main advice from guidance counsellor with the new Tyndall College in Carlow, Gemma Lawlor, as the ‘change of mind’ deadline for CAO applications is 5.15pm tomorrow.
Almost 1,900 students in Carlow and Kilkenny sat their Leaving Cert exams this year, with the results not due to be released until August.
Speaking to KCLR News, Gemma says unless you’d be happy to do a certain course, don’t put it on your CAO application.
