The Chairperson of Kilkenny’s Piltown District is warning the administrative boundary of the county is still by no means safe yet.
Fidelis Doherty says it’s hugely important that people have a look at the draft National Planning Framework online and have their say on the part pertaining to the South Kilkenny and Waterford boundary.
The deadline for submissions was supposed to be last Friday however it’s been extended until 12noon this Friday.
While the physical reach of the county won’t change, she says the part of the document relating to whether or not Kilkenny will hold onto the administrative control of the area is too vague.
Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Doherty says Friday is the last chance for people to make their voices heard on the matter.
You can view the plans at www.npf.ie and submissions can be made by emailing [email protected]
