James Stephens Army Barracks in Kilkenny will be the venue for a gathering of the Major Emergency Management agencies in the south east later this week.
This coming Thursday members of the Gardaí, the Civil Defence, the HSE, County Councils, the army and other groups will be giving a briefing on how prepared they are to respond to any major emergencies.
