Plans for Ferrybank Shopping Centre seem to be more of a “tidying-up affair” than anything else, according to a local councillor.
A recent planning application submitted to Kilkenny County Council lists a number of changes to the premises including reducing the size of a permitted retail warehouse, creating over 1,000 parking spaces and changing the top floor to office space.
South Kilkenny Councillor Tomás Breathnach says this is all just amending the previous application.
And he told KCLR that it’ll be important once these changes are made, that emphasis is also placed on filling the office as well as retail space.
