The annual summer madness festival draws to a close in Bagenalstown this evening

Irish country music star Michael English will close the festival performing in St Andrews Church

It’s all hands on deck in Bagenalstown today, as the annual Summer Madness Festival continues.

Activities are underway since 1 o’clock this afternoon in the Market Square, including live music and a line dancing competition.

Visitors also have the opportunity to try out the original Ferris wheel from the 1978 film “Grease”.

Festivities draw to a close tonight, with Irish country music star Michael English performing in St Andrews Church.
