Leading from start to finish Ballon turned in a majestic hour’s football to usher Offaly champions Daingean out of the Leinster club junior football championship at Dr. Cullen Park yesterday.
Ballon’s first goal inside of thirty seconds from Paddy Byrne was a tonic and they led by 1-6 to 0-6 at the break.
Firing on all cylinders two further goals from Glen Pullen and Des Nolan ensured they were in the semi-final. Daingean finished the game with thirteen men
