A series of public information meetings on the proposed Barrow towpath have been postponed.
The meetings had been due to take place this week in Carlow and in Graiguenamanagh.
However, Waterways Ireland say they have now put them back until the validation process of their planning permission has begun.
The planning section of Carlow County Council says, as of today, Waterways Ireland still have not submitted any planning permission.
They’re looking to build a cycle-path along the already existing walkway on the Barrow from Rathangan in Kildare through Goresbridge and onto St Mullins.
