Expect a surge in Electric Picnic ticket sales over the coming days – Blur have been announced for the Stradbally hosted festival in the latest round of additions.
Topping the list of 23 additional acts to be announced today for Electric Picnic, Blur will be making their Stradbally debut on the back of the release of The Magic Whip.
Of course that means that I’ve got a few Blur tracks on the playlist this evening.
Joining one of Britpop’s finest are Sam Smith, Grace Jones, Interpol, FKA Twigs, Despacio, Paul Kalkbrenner, Yasiin Bey, Mac DeMarco, MK, Gavin James, Printer Clips, Julio Bashmore, The Riptide Movement, The 2 Bears, SOAK, Dawes, Bejamin Clementine, Fat White Family, Honne, Kwamie, Live and Fickle Friends.
