Body of man found in River Nore in Kilkenny city

The body of a man has been recovered from the River Nore in Kilkenny city today.

His remains were found in the Linear park area earlier.

Searches have been taking place along the river in the past week for missing Dunnamaggin man 57 year old  Pat Langton.

The body has not yet been formally identified.
