Carlow businesses are being urged to get online or risk being left behind.
#Carlow Digital Storytelling Project has just been launched by the Local Enterprise Office along with a number of other local organisations.
At the moment, Irish people spend more than €14,000 every minute online but less than a third of all Irish businesses are selling online.
Speaking to KCLR News, Head of Enterprise in Carlow, Kieran Comerford says ‘The first part of the programme is delivered on a one-to-one basis”.
A digital expert goes into the company to assess where they’re currently at and gives some advice on some of the other supports available from Government.
When there is 50 companies, a needs analysis will be done with a separate fund available to enhance what they are doing.
