A decision is due from An Bórd Pleanála today on planning permission for Aldi in Graiguenamanagh.
The original application had been approved by Kilkenny County Council back in February of this year, however that decision was then appealed by two parties – a Michael Doran and RGDATA.
They’re a group that represents independent, family owned grocery shops, convenience stores, and supermarkets in Ireland.
The decision on whether or not to grant the permission is expected today.
