In 1990, when there was no Facebook, twitter or mobile phones, the Brennans of Castlecomer contacted Brennans around the world and invited them to come to Castlecomer. 2,000 people descended on the place and so we meet historian Máire Downey who recalls the events around that time and the plaque erected to the memory of those days
