Episode 40 – Ollie Walsh

Ollie Walsh was a flamboyant hurler who played as a goalkeeper on the Kilkenny senior hurling team from 1956 – 1972. He also successfully managed the team for 5 years until 1995. On his death the people of Thomastown including his local GAA club erected a monument to his memory.
