Labour will hold its annual conference in Wexford this weekend.

It seems the door is open for Ann Phelan to run again for a Dáil seat in the future.

Labour will hold its annual conference in Wexford this weekend – the first since Brendan Howlin took over as leader.

The party will be hoping to rebuild after its poor performance in the last General Election.

Former leader Joan Burton told KCLR Live this morning that Ann Phelan was a very good Junior Minister but when asked if the ex Carlow-Kilkenny TD might run again for the Dail she said it is ‘in her court’.
