Kilkenny fans have a double-header of League final action to look forward to in Semple Stadium this Sunday with the Cats bidding for hurling and camogie honours.
The ladies are out first – they’ll take on Clare in the senior camogie showdown at 1.30 while the senior hurling league decider between Kilkenny and Tipperary will follow at 3.30.
And a former Limerick senior hurler fancies Tipp to steal the win on Sunday.
Liam O Donoghue who played for the Treaty men in the 1973 All-Ireland Senior Final victory over Kilkenny has been speaking exclusively to KCLR Sport,
He says has been impressed with the progress of both Tipp and Kilkenny during the League.
