New progress has been made in the introduction of postcodes, with the approval of draft legislation addressing concerns around data protection yesterday.
Minister for Communications Alex White, said the Government had approved the draft legislation for Eircodes, which will be introduced later this year.
It’s after the Data Protection Commissioner advised the government that the postcode project should have its own data protection legislation.
