Former IFA President John Bryan says he became aware of the pay levels in the organisation only after he was elected to the role.
The Inistioge man held the top job in the association from 2010 until Eddie Downey took over last year.
Mr Downey has stepped away from the role for the moment while a review of pay and pensions is being carried out.
John Bryan says he didn’t realise there was a salary until he got the job – this morning he revealed exclusively to KCLR he started on 125 thousand euro a year in 2010.
