Gardaí are investigating an attempted burglary at a primary school in North Kilkenny.
The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning at St Michael’s National School in Crosspatrick.
The alarm was raised at around 1am when a window of a prefab was broken but the culprit left empty-handed.
Meanwhile,
Gardaí are also asking members of Gyms and Leisure Centres to be mindful of their property while training.
It comes after there have been a number of cases of property being taken from unsecured lockers in the past week.
