A group of local Glanbia employees are among those to be honoured today for their part in raising 1.6 million euro for Barrettstown.
The centre, which serves children who are affected by serious illnesses, will recognise the work of volunteers who have raised the large sum of money.
A Glanbia funded garden is to be unveiled and each volunteer will be given a tour of the centre to see what their money will do.
Brid Quirke from Ballyfoyle in Co Kilkenny is one of 50 Glanbia employees around Ireland to have been involved in the initiative.
She says it is an honour to be celebrated at Barrettstown today.
