Matt O’Keeffe is your host, and you can contact the show by emailing [email protected]
This show was first broadcast on Thursday, October 5th, 2017.
First tonight on the Glanbia Farm Show, Matt brought us a interview recorded on the farm of Eamonn and Gerard Doyle from Tullahought, Co. Kilkenny who were recent recipients of an innovation award at the National Dairy Council/Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards.
We were joined then by Oliver Holohan, solicitor with Alan Millard Solicitors of Carlow for the first of four pieces on legal matters. Tonight, Oliver discussed issues around succession and of making wills. We will discuss issues of rights of way on next week’s programme. (If you want to raise an issue feel feel to email us at [email protected] We can’t discuss individual issues but are happy to raise general legal matters).
As October 6th is National Potato Day, Matt spoke with Lorcan Bourke of Bord Bia who spoke passionately and knowledgeably about the humble spud. For more information and some tasty recipes you can visit the Potato Day website
We had our usual Farm Diary (sponsored by Tullow Mart) and George Candler gave the usual Kilkenny weekly mart report (sponsored by Alan Millard Solicitors)
