First tonight we heard about the worrying forestry issue of Ash die-back, something with more than a farming aspect, also being a hugely cultural issue, with ash being an omnipresent part of the Irish countryside and synonymous with hurling. Joining us in studio were Michael Power, Estate Risk Manager with Coillte, Michael Somers, Forestry Advisor with Teagasc and Dr. Gerry Douglas, Plant Researcher with Teagasc joined us on the phone.
