Hollow Sounds Change In Venue Statement
“Kilkenny’s new 2 day event ‘Hollow Sounds’ due to take place next weekend (July 03 & 04) in beautiful Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre will now move Saturday (July 04) to Set Theatre in Kilkenny.
Organisers Homebeat & KPB have chosen to move the event to the venue, stating “Despite our best intentions, and in one of Ireland’s most unique venues, the Saturday of our 2 day event hasn’t sold as we had projected. Ballykeeffe is like no other site in the country, however, we acknowledge It is a very busy time of year for music lovers and this has affected sales.”
The lineup for Set Theatre on Saturday July 04 will now include Jape, Slow Skies & Neon Wolf with a Jape DJ set and T/A/S/T/E DJs playing ’til late.
As planned, Happenings present ‘The Goonies’ will go ahead on Friday July 03 in Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre with some tickets still available for Hollow Sounds inaugural outdoor cinema.
Tickets for Saturday July 04 are now priced at €15 and available from Eventrbrite.ie, Brewery Corner & Rollercoaster Records, Kieran Street. Any refunds required are available from point of purchase.
Homebeat & KPB would like to sincerely apologise to the acts that had committed to play Hollow Sounds in Ballykeeffe. Also, a special thanks to the events kind sponsor O’Hara’s, all the wonderful crew at Ballykeeffe Amphitheatre and Set Theatre for accommodating the change in venue.
Any tickets previously purchased will remain valid for the change in venue. Any refunds due will be refunded from point of purchase. “
