Carlow will be welcoming the Minister for Housing next week to turn the sod on 26 new houses and formally open 24 others.
Eoghan Murphy will also be visiting a 63 house project adjacent to the Willows housing estate in Carlow Town.
The 24 houses that will be formally opened are in Gleann na Bearú, in Bagenalstown and cost in the region of 3.5 million euro to build.
A sod-turning ceremony will be held at a site in Graiguecullen for 26 new houses which will cost about 4 million euro.
It’ll all be taking place on Tuesday next and Housing Director with Carlow County Council, Séamus O’Connor says they’re also hopeful of a further announcement of around 89 houses while he’s here.
