A hurricane heading our way over the weekend has been upgraded to a category 2.
Forecasters say they will keep a close eye on Ophelia over the coming days as she is due to reach our shores by Monday but its not clear yet how serious conditions are expected to be.

Speaking to KCLR News, Alan says the particular system of this storm is something that we haven’t seen since Hurricane Gordon back in 2006.
