Ireland have secured a semi final spot at the Women’s Rugby World Cup.
Tries in either half from Sharon Lynch, and one each for Tania Rosser, Siobhán Fleming, Vicki McGinn and a penalty try helped Ireland to a 40 points to 5 win over Kazakhstan.
Jackie Shiels also kicked 10 points, sending over five conversions from six.
That win secures Ireland top spot in Pool B, with their semi final opponents likely to be the winner of this evening’s Pool C clash of Australia and France.
