There are only 4 houses in County Kilkenny that qualify for the first-time-buyers scheme.
That’s according to a report today by Daft dot ie.
There are only 2,500 homes throughout the country that qualify for the first-time buyers scheme.
According to Daft.ie, Dublin has the bulk of the properties with 643, followed by Kildare on 344 and Meath at 318.
Carlow and Kilkenny have a combined total of 104 properties that qualify.
However, 100 of those are in Carlow – leaving just four in Kilkenny.
This represents about 4% of the total stock nationwide that qualifies.
To qualify for the scheme houses must be new builds and worth less than €600,000.
