It was a good weekend for Kilkenny athletes at the National Track and Field juvenile championships over the weekend .
On Saturday Ciara Deeley struck for gold in the U-15 250m Hurdles
There was silver medals in the U-19 3000m for Aoibhe Richardson (KCH) and Oliver Mullally (St Senans) and a Silver medal for Anna Sheehan, KCH, in the U-19 800m
There was bronze medals for Brow Rangers in the Hammer (Ciaran Coady and Aoife Coady) and Discus (Grainne Kelly and Therese Kelly)
There was bronze for Hannah Kelly (KCH) in the javelin and bronze for Shane Power (St Josephs) in the Pole Vault
On Sunday Sarah Kate Lacey, KCH took gold in the U-19 200m
Gowran’s Donagh Mahon won gold in the high jump as did Shannen Dawkins
Dawkins also won gold in the 200m event
There was silver for Isabel Morgan in the U-16 2k Wal and bronze medals in the 200m for Sophie Becker, St Josephs and David Murphy, Gowran
Bronze medals also for Therese Kelly (BR) in the U-14 Shot Putt and Eimear O Donohue in the U-18 High Jump
