Around 1,200 Fine Gael members from Carlow and Kilkenny will be casting their votes in their party’s leadership election today.
Voting for Enda Kenny’s replacement began last night – with 21,000 members to have their say over the next number of days.
Social Protection Minister, Leo Varadkar, and Housing Minister Simon Coveney are the only two contesting with the results to be announced this Friday.
Tonight’s voting for local members takes place in the Lord Bagenal in Leighlinbridge from 6 o’clock.
