Kilkenny Fianna Fail Councillor announces his Dail ambitions

chapcleereAnother Fianna Fail Councillor has declared his intention to seek the party nomination for the Carlow-Kilkenny by-election in May.

Peter ‘Chap’ Cleere was elected for the first time to Kilkenny county council in 2014.

He announced today that he wants to be considered for selection when the party meets for convention in a fortnights time.

He will have competition from 2 Carlow Councillors Jennifer Murnane O Connor and Fintan Phelan and Former TD Bobby Aylward.
