Happy but still unsure is the feeling of Kilkenny Fine Gael Councillors this evening after their meeting with Minister Simon Coveney.
The local representatives, along with Deputy John Paul Phelan, travelled to Leinster House yesterday where they met with the Planning Minister for more than an hour over the proposed extension of Waterford’s boundary into Kilkenny.
They also met with other Fine Gael TDs, and with Fianna Fáil leader Mícheál Martin and Labour leader Brendan Howlin.
Speaking to KCLR News from Leinster House, Councillor Pat Dunphy said Minister Coveney wasn’t giving anything away.
