A Kilkenny mother who’s been campaigning for lower speed limits says it just makes sense that a limit of 30kmh would apply to certain streets and housing estates.
Roseann Brennan’s little boy Jake was killed in 2014 after being struck by a car and she has been continuously appealing for a drop in speed limits.
This week, as part of Road safety week, the RSA wants councils around the country to look at lowering their own limits.
Speaking to KCLR News, Roseann says while she welcomes it, she would question the length of time it has taken to happen.
