Kieran Joyce says he’s devastated to be hanging up his inter-county hurling boots, but it’s the right decision.
The 30-year-old Kilkenny defender announced his retirement this evening (Friday) after a long and hugely successful career which included four All-Ireland, four Leinster, and three National League titles.
He says he met with Brian Cody this week where they discussed things and he says he’s decided to leave the inter-county scene on good memories and good terms.
