Walsh Whiskey in the Royal Oak will play host to the launch of the Irish Whiskey Tourism Strategy for the South East today.
Local Junior Minister John Paul Phelan will be doing the honours from 12 this afternoon.
The Irish Whiskey Association say there’s huge untapped potential when it comes to attracting visitors to Irish distilleries.
And the head of the Association, William Lavelle, told KCLR News, Carlow’s Walsh Whiskey is leading the way in the South East at the moment.
