A local Fianna Fáil TD says he hopes we have seen the last of the boundary issues between Kilkenny and Waterford.
Bobby Aylward was speaking following Minister Simon Coveney’s announcement last week that he won’t be adopting the recommendations of the boundary commission – meaning there’ll be no change to the existing boundary between Kilkenny and Waterford.
This is the second time the proposal has been defeated in the past 10 years.
Speaking to KCLR news, Deputy Aylward says he hopes this will be the last we’ll hear of it.
