A meeting is being held in Carlow this evening, to plan how best to spend an Economic Development fund of €150,000.
It was granted by Minister Simon Coveney after he attended a meeting with the County Carlow Chamber in August last year.
The Carlow County Chamber, Carlow County Council and a number of invited guests will hold a meeting at six o’clock this evening, to discuss how best to spend the money.
Consumer surveys were carried out on two hundred and fifty people living and working in Carlow, and the results of those will be considered when planning where the money should go.
The Chamber says although it isn’t a huge amount of money, they see it as a first phase to accessing future funding to develop Carlow.
