Labours Phil Prendergast is alone so far in her calls for a new party leader.
The MEP made the call this morning on the back of a pretty poor showing for Labour in the latest opinion polls.
She says an urgent change is needed if the party is to avoid a wipeout at the European and local elections.
Ms Prendergast is due to join Minister Brendan Howlin to canvass in Carlow today after he launched a new 4 year plan for IT Carlow this morning.
Speaking to KCLR news at IT Carlow earlier Minister Howlin said the party already has a leader.
