Portumna have won the All Ireland Club final.
They beat Carlow’s Mount Leinster Rangers 19 points to 11 to win the All-Ireland Club Senior Hurling Championship.
Mount Leinster Rangers ended the game with 14 men when Edward Coady was sent off with a minute to go.
The Borris based club were hoping to make history for county Carlow in Croke Park today by lifting the Tommy Moore cup for the first time.
It’s was the biggest day in Carlow’s hurling history as Mount Leinster Rangers faced Portumna in Croke Park.
Portumna are now four time All Ireland winners after having played their fifth ever final this afternoon.
