A number of houses are being bought in Bagenalstown by the Carlow Voluntary Housing Association.
Tintean helps to provide housing to people who are vulnerable or are on low incomes.
Since it’s establishment twenty one years ago Tinteán has developed housing for low income families, single people, older people and people with disabilities in Carlow Town and County.
Turlough O’Brien is CEO of the Carlow Voluntary Housing Association, he told KCLR that they’re hopeful more new builds will come on stream down the line.
He said they are also now working with Kilkenny county council to provide housing.
