A new sheltered housing community in Leighlinbridge has been officially unveiled this week.
15 houses and a community centre have been allocated in the Carlow village as part of this community housing development.
They’re for elderly people both locally in the Leighlinbridge area and around the county.
Speaking to KCLR News today, local councillor, Michael Doran says the houses are right beside all the amenities they could need.
He says that it’s for those who have been on the housing list particularly those over 65 years of age.
