Locals on the Kennyswell Road in Kilkenny City are to formally meet with the local council about the issue of the amount of Lorries going through their road.
The residents made up of young families and older people are concerned over the high volume of Hgv’s and Lorries using the road.
A council meeting was told this week that 800 hgv’s travel the stretch every day.
Spokesperson for the Kennyswell residents Conor Foley says this meeting with the council will help them get to the bottom of the issue.
