Palatine qualified for the junior football championship ‘C’ final with a 3-14 to 2-7 win over St. Patrick’s yesterday evening.
Leighlinbridge and Fenagh meet in the other semi-final this evening in Netwatch Carlow Training centre at 8-00 pm.
Its unclear whether Mt. Leinster Rngs and Naomh Eoins intermediate hurling final will go ahead as scheduled on Saturday at Netwatch Cullen Park at 3-00 pm.
Carlow Town were to play Naomh Eoin on Saturday 22nd of August in the semi-final, due to lack of numbers were unable to fulfill the fixture and asked for a postponement.
Carlow town brought their case to the CCC which was turned down and their appeal to the Hearings Committee was heard on Monday night, no decision was reached and the hearings Committee are meeting on Thursday evening and will issue their verdict.
