Last years defeated finalists Ballinabranna laid down a marker with a 0-16 to 0-6 win over the Fighting Cocks at Dr. Cullen Park.

Ballinabranna led by nine points to two at half time

In McGrath Park O’Hanrahans and Fenagh served up a thriller, O’Hanrahans led by 1-6 to 0-3 at half time.

Fenagh battled back to within a point 1-8 to 0-10 ten minutes from the end.

A second goal from Danny Thompson for O’Hanrahans seem to have the game wrapped up, Aidan Murphy with Fenaghs goal put the game at fever pitch.

However two further points from the town men eased them in to a three point lead as Fenagh with the last kick of the ball saw a great chance for goal deflected out for a fourty five

Final Score O’Hanrahans 2-10 Fenagh 1-10
