Voting of the Fine Gael Parliamentary Party in the leadership election is underway in Dublin.
The votes will be counted this afternoon along with those already cast by Councillors and party members.
Barring a major upset it’s widely expected Leo Varadkar will become leader this evening.
John Paul Phelan and Pat Deering are both backing the Social Protection Minister for the job.
Meanwhile Phil Hogan who was in Kilkenny yesterday on EU business didn’t like to say who he was supporting.
Commisioner Hogan told KCLR he has already voted but wouldn’t say for whom.
